Invisio Pharmaceuticals provides Oral Liquid medications to help patients struggling to swallow tablets. Our therapy areas include Parkinson’s Disease and Narcolepsy, or Excessive Daytime Sleepiness. We are proud to be sponsoring this endeavour in its early stages and hope it will build momentum. It is interesting that so few people who struggle to swallow tablets mention this to their physician or pharmacist, and so never receive an alternative formulation. I have seen a publication where these people then state that they either crush up the tablets, empty capsules, or even admit to spitting the medication out and not taking it. It is a real shame that people cannot express their issues and we want to try to change this.
